Job Title: Intern as 3rd Party Product (3PP) Coordinator, Ericsson

Department: BNET DUIB China R&D Operations CM team

Department Summary
       
By 2020, there will be 50 billion connections to the internet, whereby anything that can benefit from an internet connection will be connected (i.e. Networked Society). Over the last 3+ years Ericsson has invested billions of dollars to move from the #1 position in Wireless Infrastructure to take claim as the #1in end-to-end Converged Infrastructure. There are not many players that have end-to-end capability. There are a whole host of challenges you face when creating a single, fully converged, infrastructure that handles everything.
DUIB China R&D Ops CM team is a central function with energetic talents to support multiple Ericsson product portfolios along this 2020 journey. You will have the best opportunity to work with a great team and continuous learning opportunity to build up competence on 3PP handling and FOSS (Free Open Source Software) license.

Position Summary

3rd Party Product Coordinator (3PPC) will work closely with TCA (Trade Compliance Advisor), engineering and sourcing team, to collect 3PP information and apply for 3PP information /permission to Group Function team. 3PP coordinator is responsible for SVL (Software Vendor List) documents preparation for the total project, and updates the document with feedback from software supply/sourcing and engineering. 3PPC will have a great opportunity to work deep on the compliance of FOSS license.

Responsibilities & Tasks:
•        Working closely with TCA on 3PP information collection from Engineering and sourcing, submit CFT requests online.
•        Read CFT output and consolidates the information project SVL template. With TCA preliminary review, get ready for review for Group Function SW supply, sourcing and engineering.
•        Learning on the FOSS license, provide consultancy for engineering on how to comply with FOSS license.

Position Qualification
•        Passionate for technology and coordination
•        Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
•        Cooperative and good communication skills across multiple teams.
•        Competence of working in detail and passion to broaden knowledge on FOSS license.
•        Be able to work at least 4 days a week for more than 3 months
•        B.S. degree in Computer Science/Information Engineering or equivalent is a must.
